Grizzly Targets adds to their lineup of steel target systems, releasing the new AR500 steel plate equipped SOCOM Rack.
Developed alongside the team at Special Operations Command at their range on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, Grizzly Targets says the new rack offers fluid operation and efficiency.
The target setup measures 51-inches by 32-inches by 80-inches with a weight of 435 pounds. AR500 steel rack plates measure 5-inches by 3/8-inches and are laser cut and factory tested.
The rack features cam-style pucks which hold the steel plates in place with no bolts needed. Grizzle says the advantage to this design is that plates and pucks never come loose and there’s no bolts to damage or mangle resulting in smooth operation of the SOCOM rack.
In addition, the body and legs of the system are hot dipped galvanized to prevent rust while the overbuilt, heavy duty construction is built to last. The front guard is removable on the unit, making for easy replacement. Topping off the features is the detachable wheel system which is available to add a little mobility to the SOCOM rack setup.
