Breaking news just came in that a shooting took place at the Congressional baseball practice in Nothern Virgina.

Majority Whip Scalise has been hit.

Rep. Jeff Duncan tells me he is alright. He left just before the shooting, but may have possibly spoken to the shooter.

Shooting took place at a baseball field in Alexandria where they typically practice. The park is located in a residential area.

Fox News confirming that Steve Scalise (R-La.) has been shot in the hip. Alexandria Police say the suspect is in custody.
