Noting that a store-bought steak can go through as many as 100 sets of hands or machines before it reaches your table, “The Wild Chef” Jeremiah Doughty talks about locally-sourced meat.
Doughty has one of the coolest Instagram feeds around and he talks about his passion for what he does in the above video where he takes an Axis deer from the field to an enjoyable meal with friends and family.
“I think this whole idea of from farm to table, field to plate, people who were vegans and vegetarians two years ago are now buying camouflage and going out in the woods — because they realize this is better, cleaner meat,” he says.
